Ten Research Projects to Create the Future
In this initiative, we conduct 10 research projects to evaluate the usefulness of PLR in real-world situations. Projects 1 to 4 are projects related to the utilization of PLR – in other words, projects to create solutions. Projects 5 to 8 are related to the foundational infrastructure that enables the collection and utilization of PLR data. In order to enable the opt-in, consent-based collection and utilization of data and feedback, project 8, the Social Technology Project, is exploring ways to enable the adoption of PLR in real-world society by addressing privacy challenges and Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues (ELSI). Finally, projects 9 and 10 focus on expert training and soliciting research proposals from young researchers around the world.
